Drop ins will be available for all students beginning the week of September 28th. We will open dropins on Tuesday 9/15 for those children that are registered for Chess and for those children that are already registered in first session classes. 2:45-4:15 ($36) 2:45-5:45 ($72) 4:15-5:00 ($18) 4:15-5:45 ($36) or 5:45-6:00 ($12) Registration must be received before the day of the drop-in. Parents are required to notify their child's classroom teacher that they will be attending after school on a particular day. This is particularly important if your child normally takes the school bus. Students will be placed in classes that have available seats - generally Let's Play, Game Time or Team Games. We can not honor requests for specific classes.

The Fall Afterschool Registration will open on MONDAY, AUGUST 3RD at NOON – Please make sure that the information in your Arux account is up to date and that you complete the NEW 2026-2027 Afterschool PreRegistration Contract. If you are new to afterschool, this online system will enable you to register for all programs, check account balances, make payments, print receipts and child care tax statements, and request schedule changes. Please set up your account and family profile to begin.____________________________________________________________ PS 11 Programs Inc. was founded in 1997 by PTA members and parents of PS 11 students. PS 11 Programs Inc. is not affiliated with the New York City Department of Education. It is a not-for-profit Community Based Organization that works in partnership with PS 11 to provide academic support and enrichment opportunities to students every school day from dismissal until 6:00 p.m. Our program serves over 750 students in Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade. The program offers 2 sessions of classes each day from 2:45-4:15 and from 4:15-5:45 pm. There are a variety of activities designed to give your child a well-rounded experience in our program, which will help them develop physically, academically and socially. The activities offered include art, music, theater, sports, dance, computers and more. Children are grouped by age (K-2nd, 3rd-5th), and sometimes by level and ability. Dismissal from the program is at 4:15 and 5:45. We also provide an “extended” dismissal at 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 pm to accommodate families’ work schedules. Children who are signed up for the 5:00 and 6:00 dismissals will not attend a class but will remain in the cafeteria for “choice time” including art, games, drawing/coloring, etc.. A limited number of seats are available for this and the dismissal time will be strictly enforced. Snack is provided from 4:00-4:15. Our program is fee-based and the cost is $28 per session, 2:45-4:15 session 1, and 4:15 - 5:45, session 2. We do offer a reduced rate of $17.50 if your family meets the federal guidelines for free lunch. Full and partial scholarships are also available. As of August 1 2026, payment processing fees (3.00%) will be applied at checkout when using credit cards. This change allows us to keep program costs lower while still offering convenient payment options for families. To avoid fees entirely, we offer free debit card and ACH/bank transfer payments. ACH is a secure way to pay directly from your bank account with no processing costs. The first session of afterschool ends at 4:15, the 2nd session at 5:45 pm. We will offer extended dismissals for session 1 from 4:15-5:00 and for session 2 from 5:45-6:00 pm. All students must be registered in advance for this extended dismissal. Children will not participate in a class during this time but will have a range of activities to choose from including art, drawing/coloring, games, etc. A limited number of seats are available and the dismissal time will be strictly enforced. The cost for the 1st session extension from 4:15-5:00 is $14.00/$8.75 if you meet the federal income guidelines for free lunch. For the 2nd session extension from 5:45-6:00, the cost is $8.00.

Once your registration is received and approved, you will be emailed a promo code. The promo code will be effective on Monday, August 3rd at noon at this link. The promo code works just like in a shopping cart - choose the classes and then enter the promo code AFTER you have selected the classes that you want.This promo code will only work in the Financial Assistance Module. If the system asks you to pay or does not accept the promo code, you are in the wrong module. Holiday camps will be held on non-school days from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. $140/day ($90 on half-days 12:00-5:00). 8:30 am early drop off/5:30 late pickup available - $10/day/hour. Financial assistance will be available. Most camps will be held on-site at PS 11 but there will also be field trips and neighborhood walks. We will always try to offer an on-site option. Please note that we are not able to take PreK children on holiday camp field trips. They are able to attend all on-site programs.
