This class is open by invitation only. Please do not register for this class unless you have received an email.In this high-energy after-school class, students start with a warm-up to prevent injury and get their bodies ready to move. They learn how to count music and understand rhythm, then break down hip-hop dance moves—sometimes traveling across the floor to build coordination. Then on to learning choreography to various songs, preparing for exciting performances! Each session ends with a freestyle session to utilize what moves were learnt and/or to find their own movement and just DANCE.

All recipes are 100% nut-free and we accommodate any and all allergies and dietary needs, ensuring every child can participate in the joy of cooking.This is a premium class, $40/week.

Do you like plants? Are you interested in biology (the science of living things)? If so, then this is the place for you! We're going to learn all about the many different types of plant life on Earth and even grow a few of our own! We'll study how plants evolved and learn how they are both similar and different to animal life with some fun experiments, a few plant-based crafts, some really silly games and even a few plant-dissections too! We'll grow plants of our very own using traditional soil, hydroponics and even a few alternative mediums too, like super-absorbent polymers instead of soil. We'll even attempt to grow plants alongside insects to see if we can help create symbiotic habitats. So if you're interested in learning more about plants, this is the place for you - no "green thumb" required!

Homework help time for 5th graders - math, fluency & reading/jotting. Students will be expected to have their math workbooks and independent reading books. Book clubs and read alouds will also be organized.

Advanced karate students must be blue belts and above. Kenwa kids empowers children with awareness, self-control, respect, focus and a comprehensive physical education in an atmosphere of enthusiasm and cooperation. The program was designed by Sensei Michelle Gay, CMA, RSME/T a 4th degree black belt, 2-time World Champion, Certified Movement Analyst, and author of Brain Breaks for the Classroom - published by Scholastic Teaching Resources.

School Age Child Care licenses require that PreK students be grouped separately from older students. They may be grouped only with K students with a staff to child ratio of 1:8 with a group size less than 12. PreK play activities will include arts & crafts, playground time, legos, sports and more. Kindergarden children are invited to join this session as well.

Explore the medium of textiles, combining craft and STEM, and learn to sew! A skilled instructor will guide students through selecting and preparing fabric, designing and sequencing projects, and assembling them using hand sewing techniques and sewing machines. Students will exercise their creativity, skills, and problem solving while creating their own functional and wearable pieces

Our native Spanish instructors use interactive, engaging learning materials and include fun songs, games, and activities like arts & crafts, and puppets, to make language learning an enjoyable and entertaining experience for all students. The class will be limited to 8 students, to ensure a catered approach and active participation of every student. This is a premium class, $37.50/week.

This semester we will continue our fall studies including making leaf field guides, bird models and woodland animal dioramas. we will continue with a geology study making rock boxes and beginning our own rock collection with special rocks.
